You would have more success petitioning for AoW3 to go open source. Your request is now a prioratized development issues to be dealt with in the order it was recieved. Nothing more disorganized than a codeing cowboy on the lose. I get the whole city resurrection theme especially for Necromancers with their spell, but otherwise it goes against the typical 4x trope of space/area control. sikbot's various resons could be a simple as "all the other ♥♥♥♥ on my plate working a job" or "I'm having open heart surgery tomorrow and I don't need your pity." But really, when someone just pops open the master program, cranks out a few bug fixes, slaps it back on the server with an updated build number, all within a 24 time period, they cause more problems then they fix. The amount of time that can be spend on just documenting a bug, then fixing it, then testing again, and added to the next build along with potentially hundreds of other fixes. It is complicated, just as a 4x video game can be. We make software for libraries, the card catalog (ILS). I work for a Software Company, and the development process is very complicated. I am curious as to what your "various reasons" are. Publicado originalmente por mar3usmc:See Sikbok, it is all over these forums.
